Fire Resistant BoardsPromat’s Fire Protection Boards are manufactured and tested by independent and nationally approved laboratories such as UL, ASTM, & Omega Point Laboratories. The Promat boards are designed and built to suit any fire protection application. It’s box cladding solutions allow maximum utilization of the material. There is limited or no clean up, waste or disposal.
Promat’s Fire Protection Boards most commonly utilized models are Promat H & Promat L. Promat H is a medium density board for heavy duty applications while Promat L is a lighter density version. These calcium silicate based boards are non-combustible, and can be cut and installed with standard wood-working tools.
Promat’s boards can be used for many different types of jobs including providing fire protection to partitions, masonry walls, steel beams & columns, electrical & mechanical services enclosures, ductwork as well as ceilings.
In addition, Promat provides a guarantee of uniform quality for all its board products assured by the listing and follow up service or major independent third party agencies.
